Personal Quote

"Despite decades of work in service of human and environmental health, it took me a half century to figure out that I had something called the metabolic system. Unlocking the keys to achieving optimal metabolic health has been an amazing journey - and it all comes back to my kitchen. I am so grateful that my Mother taught me to cook at a young age and to find pleasure in shopping for and preparing food for my family. One of my favorite quotes is by Eleanor Roosevelt: 'The freedom of man, I contend, is the freedom to eat.' I would simply add real food at the end of this statement."
