Robin Wearley, PA-C, MSc, of Healthy Eating for Active Travelers (HEAT)
Robin is a former Flight Attendant who holds a Masters in Health Communication from Boston University. With almost 25 years as a Physician Assistant specializing in cardiac and vascular surgery, Robin brings the health care practitioner perspective to the Healthy Eating for Active Travelers (HEAT) forum on Facebook. To round out her “fixing broken hearts” resume, she recently retired from the Medical Affairs department in the cardiovascular division of a global pharmaceutical company to pursue certification as Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
Robin’s passion centers on her love for travel, emphasizing wellness and preventative medicine, and the pursuit of a healthy version of Chee-toes. In her spare time, she maintains her urban deck garden in San Francisco, is committed to Pilates classes three times per week, and takes anybody who will go with her on her FitBit walks across the Golden Gate Bridge.
